About Hannah: I have a deep passion for traveling and immersing myself in new cultures while teaching yoga around the world. I’ve had the privilege of teaching in beautiful places like Hawaii, Costa Rica, and Bali, where I’ve learned valuable lessons that have shaped both my practice and my teaching. The peace I’ve found in these travels is something I bring into my classes, always striving to inspire others to step outside their comfort zones and experience the transformative power of yoga. My journey continues to guide my belief that growth happens when we embrace the unfamiliar, and I aim to share that sense of adventure and inner peace with everyone I teach.
Why Hannah started practicing and became an Instructor: I began my yoga journey as a way to heal physically and emotionally after struggling with an eating disorder and recovering from bone tumor surgery. Yoga saved my life, offering me the strength and peace I had been searching for. In 2017, I started teaching yoga to share that same healing with others. For me, yoga is much more than just physical movement; it’s a spiritual practice, a way of life, and a powerful tool for mental, emotional, and physical transformation. I teach to help others reconnect with their true nature, strength, and inner light. My intention is to guide students toward presence, peace, and clarity, both on the mat and in their everyday lives. This deeper connection to self and to the present moment is what drives my passion and dedication to sharing this practice.
What inspires Hannah off the mat: I’m inspired by nature, travel, and community. I feel deeply connected with Mother Earth, who teaches us to slow down and ground—just like yoga. My travels help me learn about myself through different cultures, and I believe community is essential for healing. Connecting with others and sharing experiences creates a sense of belonging and strength, much like yoga does.
A note from Hannah: I hope you find time to slow down and ground into your body! Yoga is for everybody, and I would be honored to share my practice with you in the beautiful space of Doza Yoga.
