Welcome to Doza Yoga

At Doza Yoga our intention is to create an open, free flowing space for anyone and everyone to move their body. Our offerings are meant to enhance the community as well as provide a clean environment for detoxification. Yoga is transformational. Our only hope is to be a support for you throughout your journey - a place to come home to your mind, body, breath, and soul, and allow yourself to reconnect.

So what is “Doza” Yoga? The name Doza pays homage to studio owner, Nikayla’s maiden name, Mendoza. She is proud to carry on this name through her business, and it doesn’t hurt that it’s catchy!

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING :)

  • What started as an activity I did once in a while has turned into one of the biggest parts of my life. Nikayla welcomed me in with open arms and through Doza, has given me the sense of community I always craved, the ability to touch my toes and a purpose I never thought id find.  As someone who has struggled with eating disorders/body dysmorphia, Doza Yoga has shown me that I am more than just my skin and bones. I am worthy, I am beautiful, I am strong, I am enough and I can do anything I set my mind to. I have learned to love myself, slowly, with each class, through every new pose, with each new mantra, and under the direction of all the amazing instructors at the studio. I leave every class empowered and inspired about how much my body can do. I can’t wait to continue to grow and unlock my potential— Forever Grateful for my Doza Family.

  • I started at Doza Yoga the day after the doors opened last July and I haven't looked back!  From the minute I walked in the door I felt welcomed and comfortable. It is a beautiful, safe, and peaceful studio. Every teacher is phenomenal and full committed to guiding you through each and every class. There are a wide variety of classes and workshops - something for everyone. Doza Yoga is a gift to our community and I am so grateful that I get to practice here.

  • I like to travel and do yoga all over the world. But when I really want to get healthy, and get in shape, I come home to Doza. I've been doing yoga for over 20 years and I can honestly say I have never experienced so many excellent teachers under one roof. No two classes are ever the same. Teachers are always evolving and expanding. You don't have to drag yourself to Doza to work out. It's more like coming home. I have never experienced the love and acceptance I feel at Doza. All are welcomed and encouraged, no matter what. If you ever told me I would be doing something not as spiritual like Pilates or Sculpt, I would have said no way! With different classes every week, the flow, the music, the heat - I can't wait to get to these classes.

  • Doza has changed my life. The studio and instructors are amazing. It is not just a place to do yoga, it is a true community and I am totally addicted. I have tried other studios, they just don't compare.

  • Earlier this year, I made a resolution to improve my mobility/flexibility and registered for hot yoga classes at Doza Yoga in Westhampton Beach. With a feeling of trepidation, I went to my first hot yoga class on January 4. As the saying goes, “the rest is history...” Since that fateful day in January, I have attended 91 classes in 91 days. Hot yoga has become an integral part of my daily routine. Not only has my mobility/flexibility improved, but also my physical strength (upper/lower body & core), balance, breathing and emotional health. All the instructors at Doza Yoga are positive, patient, and supportive to all who practice there. In addition to the mental/physical benefits of hot yoga, the community at Doza Yoga is second to none. I have met a diverse crowd of yoga practitioners and look forward to seeing them daily. This was a pleasant surprise that I could not have anticipated.
